KHONGOR SAND DUNE

Wake up to the melodic allure of "Singing Dune." Prepare yourself for the unique noises produced by the wind as it reaches a peak of 800 meters and travels an amazing 190 kilometers. Take a fascinating camel ride in the middle of these enormous dunes to start the day, and then climb up to the summit till dusk. FLAMMING CLIFFS

This morning, our journey takes us to Bayanzag, a region renowned for its historical significance as the site of the first discovery of dinosaur eggs by paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews in 1923. This groundbreaking exploration unveiled the revelation that dinosaurs laid eggs. Embark on a captivating hiking tour through the iconic Flaming Cliffs, immersing yourself in the same landscape that revealed this pivotal chapter in paleontological history. FLAMMING CLIFFS

Spend the day relaxing around the red cliffs, which were created over thousands of years by the erosion of rock and sand. In the afternoon, get ready for an exciting ascent up Khavtsgait Mountain, where you may see prehistoric petroglyphs engraved into the rough rock face. The climb rewards you with an amazing panorama of the surrounding valleys from the top of the mountain in addition to revealing these intriguing historical markers.
