Journey deeper into Arkhangai Province towards the beautiful White Lake, locally known as Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. TUMT HOT SPRINGS

Leave White Lake and travel through the wild landscapes of Arkhangai Province to Tumt Hot Springs. ORKHON VALLEY

Travel into the UNESCO-listed Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape, a region shaped by centuries of nomadic life and Mongolian history. Visit a local herding family, learn about their daily traditions and enjoy the valley’s wide grasslands, winding rivers and volcanic scenery. ORKHON VALLEY | YAK FESTIVAL

Spend the day at the Yak Festival, a colourful celebration of the yak and its importance to Mongolia’s mountain-herding communities. Watch the opening parade, yak racing, lassoing and herder team competitions. Festival events may also include yak polo, traditional music and dance, demonstrations of yak dairy-product and wool-rope making, and displays of products created from yak milk, wool, hide and horn. MINI GOBI SAND DUNES

Travel to the Mini Gobi, also known as Elsen Tasarkhai, where golden sand dunes meet grasslands, forests and rocky hills. Visit a local camel-herding family and enjoy a ride on a two-humped Bactrian camel. Walk across the dunes before spending the evening beneath the vast countryside sky. RETURN TO ULAANBAATAR

Return to Ulaanbaatar and check into your centrally located hotel. Enjoy time for a relaxed walk through the city centre and shopping at a cashmere outlet.
